Description
The Sales Applications Engineer will provide technical sales support for Altera Semiconductor Technology Taiwan’s FPGA, CPLD, SoC, and design-software portfolio. The role partners with sales and customers to assess system requirements, recommend devices and IP integrations, conduct presentations and demonstrations, assist with design implementation and debugging, develop technical proposals and competitive analyses, relay customer feedback to engineering teams, and support account strategy. It requires semiconductor applications or design experience, FPGA and digital-design expertise, HDL and Quartus Prime proficiency, embedded-processor and software-development knowledge, communication-protocol and memory-interface familiarity, strong communication skills, bilingual Chinese and English fluency, and occasional travel.
