Petco is hiring a Sales Associate to support customers in a Pet Care Center retail environment. The role involves greeting customers, recommending pet products and services, processing sales and returns, stocking shelves, maintaining merchandising standards, supporting inventory, and assisting with store recovery and promotions. The position requires active engagement on the sales floor, frequent standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, working near animals, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required, and the pay range is $12.00–$19.50 per hour, with a start rate of $14.00.
