Description
Kong is hiring a Sales Engineer to support field sales by helping customers understand the Kong API Management platform, establish requirements and trusted relationships, support proof-of-concepts, coordinate with support, product, and engineering teams, and create technical documentation for DevOps, implementation, and services engagements. The role requires 7+ years of software engineer or sales engineer management experience in SaaS, open source, or enterprise software, along with knowledge of cloud computing, open source business models, and technologies such as NGINX, Docker, HTTP, AWS, Postgres, and Cassandra.
