Description
The Family Service Counselor serves client families by making at-need cemetery arrangements, selling pre-need arrangements, providing personalized service, and acting as the primary family contact. The role includes prospecting, obtaining referrals, building community relationships, preparing and conducting appointments, resolving customer concerns, collaborating with funeral home and cemetery staff, and maintaining family satisfaction. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of college or equivalent education and experience, a current driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an insurance license where required; customer service and sales experience are preferred. The position offers $50,000 to $100,000 in targeted compensation with higher earnings potential based on exceptional performance.
