Description
The Food Safety Net Services Laboratory Technician receives, prepares, and processes customer samples for food-safety testing, maintains samples at required temperatures, enters data into a LIMS, segregates samples, assists with shipping, communicates with clients, and maintains laboratory conditions and records. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic laboratory knowledge, and one or more years of commercial food-testing laboratory experience is preferred. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with overnight travel required at management's discretion, and the salary is $19.50.
