Description
The role performs the complete geology sample preparation process, including receipt, inspection, work-order creation, labeling, drying, crushing, splitting, homogenizing, pulverizing, and bagging. It also determines moisture content, measures specific gravity with paraffin wax, selects drill-hole samples, and prepares daily plant samples for XRD testing. The position requires secondary education, a technical graduate in Minerals, Chemistry, and/or Metallurgy, at least one year of sample preparation or sampling experience, and preferably experience at high altitude.
