Description
The Sample Preparation Technician performs the full sample preparation workflow, including receipt, verification, work-order creation, labeling, coding, drying, crushing, quartering, homogenizing, pulverizing, and bagging. The role also maintains a clean and safe work area, records sample receipt and distribution, enters preparation and testing data, and tracks sample and counter-sample storage. Candidates need completed secondary education, a technical graduate qualification in Minerals, Chemistry, or Metallurgy, at least six months of sample-preparation experience, knowledge of sample preparation or physical testing, and availability for rotating shifts. The position offers payroll from the first day, 80% EPS premium coverage, life insurance, ongoing training, and corporate agreements.
