Description
The Sample Processing Technician supports mine campaigns at the Penhorwood operation by collecting, preparing, and analyzing mine samples and assisting with quality control for the mine and plant laboratory. The role involves operating and calibrating laboratory equipment, completing in-house testing, coordinating results with internal and external laboratories, maintaining records, and supporting seasonal mine and mill activities. Candidates should have a related certificate or diploma, 1–2 years of related experience, knowledge of quality control practices, and a valid G driver’s licence; the position requires work in both laboratory and field environments and the ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for prolonged periods.
