Description
The Security Guard reports to the Security Officer and works within the Health & Safety department, collaborating with mine departments. Responsibilities include controlling traffic between Baker Lake and Meadowbank Mine Site, reporting vehicle locations, securing the AWPR to Meadowbank, dispatching communications, producing function-related reports, and performing other supervisor-assigned duties. The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliability, health and safety orientation, computer and Microsoft Office skills, multicultural experience, teamwork, and English communication skills. Security Guard experience is an asset, and the position is reserved for Nunavut Inuit Beneficiary candidates.
