Description
The Sandblaster operates abrasive-blasting equipment to clean and prepare steel, metal, and other hard surfaces by removing paint, grime, adhesives, rust, and imperfections. The role includes selecting blasting materials, masking unaffected areas, inspecting surfaces, maintaining equipment and safety gear, following production schedules, handling materials, and reporting unsafe conditions. It is a full-time, safety-sensitive position in a noisy, dusty, non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, with a Monday-through-Thursday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and pay of $19-$21 per hour.
