Description
The Sanitation Technician performs sanitation and cleaning duties in a production processing establishment, including cleaning machinery, floors, work areas, and equipment; using chemicals, hoses, squeegees, and floor scrubbers; and following safety and sanitation procedures. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working in wet or humid conditions near moving mechanical parts, and may require getting underneath machinery. It requires a high school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination, along with General Laborer, Lockout/Tagout, and AAPP Sanitation Processes training.
