The SAS to Python/R Migration Developer will convert SAS analytical code into Python and/or R, translate SAS DATA steps, PROC SQL, statistical procedures, and macros into Python/R functions or modules, implement data ingestion and analytics workflows, validate SAS versus Python/R outputs, debug discrepancies, write maintainable and documented code, develop unit tests, optimize performance for large datasets, and collaborate with architects and data stakeholders. The role requires at least four years of analytics or data engineering experience, strong SAS programming experience, proficiency in Python and/or R, practical experience translating business logic across languages, and familiarity with relevant analytics libraries, SQL, and statistical validation.
