Description
The Satellite Bus Flight Software System Engineer will lead or support the system-level definition, architecture, integration, verification, and operational readiness of flight software for current and next-generation remote sensing and communications spacecraft. The role spans requirements translation, FSW architecture and FDIR design, interface documentation, integration and verification testing, configuration management, design reviews, technical leadership, and on-orbit support. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least 10 years of fault-tolerant embedded systems experience on LEO/MEO/GEO missions, and experience with aerospace standards, communication protocols, real-time or embedded Linux systems, and project tools.
