Description
The client is hiring a Satellite Bus Flight Software System Engineer to provide system-level technical leadership for flight software on current and next-generation remote sensing and communications spacecraft. The role spans requirements and architecture, embedded flight software interfaces, fault detection isolation and recovery, cybersecurity, integration and verification, documentation and configuration management, design reviews, mission operations, on-orbit support, customer coordination, and mentorship. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and more than 10 years of fault-tolerant embedded-systems experience on LEO, MEO, or GEO missions.
