Description
The Satellite Controller monitors and controls Telesat-operated satellites and other communication-service-provider satellites, performs scheduled and unscheduled operations, analyzes telemetry, executes orbit and attitude maneuvers, responds to anomalies and equipment or software discrepancies, and supports satellite ground-control systems. The role requires a three-year technologist diploma in Communications, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent, along with strong situational awareness, multitasking, communication, and analytical skills; programming and development skills are an asset. The incumbent will undergo on-the-job training during a probationary period after acceptance.
