Description
The Electrical Propulsion Engineer will translate mission-level performance, power, mass, contamination, and reliability goals into requirements and interface documents, then lead detailed mechanical and electrical design of thruster assemblies, power-processing units, propellant feed and storage systems, and control electronics. The role covers system-level trade studies, modeling and simulation, software and control interfaces, FDIR algorithms, verification and testing, launch and on-orbit support, and technical leadership. It requires a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Physics and at least 8 years of electrical propulsion engineering experience on LEO/MEO platforms, along with knowledge of thruster families, propellant systems, aerospace systems engineering, and tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
