Lockheed Martin is hiring a Level 3 Satellite Mission Engineer Sr to conduct real-time spacecraft and satellite flight operations during readiness, execution, and evaluation phases. The role develops mission plans and procedures, supports orbit dynamics and satellite performance analysis, directs on-orbit mission support, plans for vehicle malfunctions, analyzes telemetry-based failures, controls spacecraft with system software, validates software performance, and performs orbit adjustments and special-event studies. The position requires at least three years of related experience, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and experience with real-time mission operations, troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and technical systems. The full-time salary range is $95,900 to $178,100, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
