Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring an Operations Director to provide overall direction and technical leadership for 24x7 spacecraft and satellite flight operations, including real-time mission support, orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control, failure analysis, telemetry-based diagnostics, software validation, orbit adjustments, and special-event studies. The role also leads responses to hardware and software problems, directs shift engineers, and coordinates with day staff and future hardware and software deliveries. The position requires prior operations experience, technical leadership and supervisory experience, a current TS/SCI security clearance, and working 12-hour rotating day-and-night shifts; the full-time salary range is $129,000 to $239,600.
