Description
K2 Space is hiring a Satellite Software Engineering Intern for a 3-month, in-person internship at its Torrance headquarters. The intern will work with engineers on real-time, fault-tolerant spacecraft control software, subsystem applications, state machines, deployment tools, data analysis, anomaly investigation, integration testing, and reliability infrastructure. The role requires current enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s engineering program, at least six months of technical engineering experience outside the university classroom, and development experience in Rust, C/C++, or Go. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour, with possible housing and travel stipends.
