Description
The Saw Operator sets up and operates saws to cut titanium, stainless steel, and other metal billets or parts to specified lengths, dimensions, and tolerances. The role includes reading work orders, selecting blades and cutting parameters, positioning and clamping stock, starting and guiding the saw, verifying customer specifications, marking layout lines, inspecting material, maintaining identification, and following safety and EHS requirements. The position also requires operating overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and side loaders, and may involve heavy lifting in a warehouse or shop-floor environment.
