Description
The Lumber Sawyer processes cutting i-joists to specification in a standard, routine manufacturing environment. The role involves reading cut sheets, setting up sawing equipment, maintaining inventory, servicing equipment, meeting production goals, loading and unloading semi-flat beds, and following safety procedures. The position requires forklift and chainsaw operation, manual dexterity, the ability to work at a fast pace and in inclement weather, and teamwork. Previous manufacturing, mill, or lumber experience is preferred, and full-time employees may receive health, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days of employment.
