Description
The part-time Business Adviser provides confidential one-on-one advising and technical assistance to current and aspiring small business owners, covering business formation, planning, financial management, marketing, intellectual property, AI adoption, succession planning, and strategic planning. The role also documents counseling records in the Oregon SBDC Network’s Center IC system, refers clients to resources, delivers training, and maintains compliance with Oregon SBDC Network, SBA, and Business Oregon requirements. The position is primarily office-based with occasional field visits, may require evening or weekend hours, and requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent business ownership and education.
