Description
Steel Technologies is hiring a Scale Operator to tag and prepare finished goods for shipment. The role involves directing packaged material to scales, inspecting and weighing packages, entering data into the AS 400 system, generating tags, verifying sales orders, balancing production, and controlling material flow between scales, storage, and the office. The regular schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime added to Monday when needed. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of industrial or manufacturing experience are preferred, along with basic computer skills, measurement-tool proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
