Description
The Scenic Carpenter fabricates, assembles, installs, repairs, and restores custom scenic elements for live events, temporary structures, branded environments, and corporate experiences. The role uses drawings, renderings, measurements, and verbal direction to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials; operate woodworking tools; prepare components for painting, graphics, upholstery, and electrical integration; and participate in quality checks, packing, loading, and project preparation. The position may work in the shop, warehouse, yard, or at event sites and requires carpentry skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Compensation is $22-$28 per hour based on experience, with medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401K match, paid holidays, paid vacation, and per-diem benefits.
