Description
The Medical Scheduling Specialist schedules diagnostic service exams across Radiology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, and Nuclear Medicine departments, interprets physician orders, answers patient and office questions, and provides scheduling and treatment instructions. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, strong listening and organizational abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Healthcare, telephone, scheduling, and CPT/ICD-10 coding experience are preferred.
