Description
The Sleep Scheduling Coordinator serves as the primary contact for scheduling sleep-related appointments for new and existing patients and supports practices, hospital departments, and ancillary services. The role coordinates consults, studies, follow-ups, cancellations, reschedules, insurance authorizations, medical records, patient check-in and check-out, and communication with clinical and office staff through EMR and scheduling systems. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of customer service or healthcare experience, strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
