Description
The SACC Counselor supports the School Age Child Care program by assisting with extended-care activities, special events, snacks, child supervision, safety, parent communication, and program records. The role requires a high school degree or GED, at least one year of experience working with children under age 13, strong communication and organizational skills, and CPR/AED and First Aid certification or certification within 90 days. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and may require substitution or floating at another YMCA site.
