Description
The SACC Counselor supports the SACC Site Director and extended care staff by planning and implementing activities, supervising children in small groups, maintaining safe and organized environments, supporting child development, communicating with parents, and following abuse-reporting and YMCA policies. The role requires a high school degree or GED, at least one year of experience working with children under age 13, strong communication and organizational skills, and CPR/AED and First Aid certification or certification within 90 days. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday and pays $16.13–$18.00 per hour.
