Description
The School Assistant will support children with special needs in everyday school life, including accompanying them during lessons and breaks, promoting their social and educational inclusion, helping with school tasks and communication, and cooperating with teachers, parents, and other care professionals. The role is based at Ruhrallee 9 in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 25–30 hours per week in a part-time or full-time arrangement. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, care-related support, reliability, and responsibility; career changers without prior professional experience are welcome.
