Description
The School Assistant will accompany and support children with special needs during class and breaks, promote their social and school integration, help with everyday school tasks and communication with students and teachers, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other care or support persons. The role is based at School Assistant PRO NRW in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 20 hours per week in either part-time or full-time arrangements. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility; career switchers without prior professional experience are welcome.
