Description
The School Assistant will support children with special needs in everyday school life, including accompanying them during class and breaks, promoting social and school integration, helping with school tasks, supporting communication with peers and teachers, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other caregivers. The role is based at School Assistant PRO NRW in Dortmund, offers approximately 25–30 hours during school hours, and is available part-time or full-time. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility; career changers without professional experience are welcome. Regular training and a friendly work atmosphere are offered.
