Description
The School Assistant supports children with special needs during lessons and breaks, promotes their social and school integration, helps with everyday school tasks and communication with classmates and teachers, and collaborates with teachers, parents, and other care personnel. The role is based in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 30 hours per week in either part-time or full-time arrangements. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility; career changers without professional experience are also welcome.
