Description
The School Based Therapist provides educationally related intensive counseling to special education students and their families, including individual, family, and group counseling; parent counseling and training; IEP participation; documentation; measurable goal development; case consultation; and Medi-Cal billing. The role requires a master’s degree or higher in a relevant counseling, psychology, social work, or related field, two years of related experience, and a valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology license, with Pupil Personnel Services credential and clinical supervision experience preferred. The position may include evenings and weekends and is primarily an indoor office role.
