Description
The School Bus Attendant assists students with special needs during transportation to and from school and activities, supports drivers with loading, unloading, and securing handicapped students, monitors student behavior and safety, provides basic first aid and CPR, operates adaptive equipment, maintains records, and responds to emergencies. The role is 4–7 hours per day on a split shift during the school year, requires high school graduation or equivalent GED plus relevant experience, and requires First Aid and CPR certifications and successful completion of a district proficiency test.
