Description
The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting up to 78 students from school sites to their homes and on field trips, beginning at 6:15 PM Monday through Friday on school days. The role includes conducting student counts, maintaining discipline, following traffic and school-bus safety regulations, inspecting and cleaning the bus, maintaining schedules, reporting incidents and mechanical issues, and serving as a post-accident Bus Monitor. Candidates must be at least 18, have at least six months of driving experience and a valid driver’s license, and possess or obtain a commercial driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements. The position is non-exempt and pays $17.02 per hour, adjusted based on experience.
