Description
The Substitute Bus Driver safely transports students to field trips, athletic events, and other school-related activities, typically working 6–20 hours per week on a sporadic, temporary basis. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Class B Commercial Driver's License, Indiana School Bus Committee Standard Certificate, DOT physical, clean driving record, and at least one year of bus-driving experience. Responsibilities include safe bus operation, passenger safety, route scheduling, vehicle inspections, emergency assistance, and communication with students, parents, and staff.
