Description
The La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is hiring a School Bus Driver Trainee to learn and perform school bus driving, student transportation, safety inspections, loading and unloading, emergency response, vehicle maintenance, recordkeeping, and route operations. The role is a 5–6 hour split shift during the school year with 206 paid days, offers advanced step salary placement at $25.50 per hour, and requires a California School Bus Driver's Certificate, Class B license with P/S endorsements, First Aid and CPR certification, a Medical Examiner's Certificate, and a K-4 report. Applications are accepted continually, and applicants must pass a district proficiency test.
