Description
The School Bus Driver - Transit safely and efficiently operates a school bus along assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students while maintaining order, communicating with school officials and parents, and complying with transportation laws and school district policies. The role requires a valid commercial driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements, a clean driving record, background and drug/alcohol screening, and the ability to operate large vehicles in varied traffic and weather conditions. Preferred qualifications include prior transit driving experience, first aid and CPR certification, route familiarity, student behavior management training, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
