Description
Charles County Public Schools is hiring a school counselor for a 10-month exempt position. The role involves designing and implementing an ASCA-aligned counseling program; delivering academic, personal-social, and career guidance; providing individual and group counseling and crisis support; consulting with staff and parents; coordinating referrals and student support services; participating in SST, IEP, and 504 meetings; using data to evaluate programs and monitor student progress; and collaborating with school and community stakeholders. A master's degree in School Counseling, Maryland licensure eligibility, and either a 600-hour practicum or school-based teaching/counseling experience are required; bilingual Spanish ability is preferred.
