Description
The NSW Department of Education is hiring a School Learning Support Officer for Kingsgrove Public School to support students with identified diverse learning needs, including disability, in classrooms and other learning environments under teacher supervision. The role includes student welfare, health and wellbeing activities, and may involve support for preschool, vision, hearing, or bilingual streams. Applicants must be working toward or hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care, hold Working with Children Check Clearance, complete mandatory Department of Education training, and demonstrate teamwork, communication, child safety, and ability to work with young children and students with disabilities. The position is anticipated to commence in Term 4, 2026.
