Description
The NSW Department of Education is hiring two School Learning Support Officers to support students with identified diverse learning needs, including disability, in classrooms and other learning environments under teacher direction. Duties include student welfare, health and wellbeing activities, and support in preschool, vision, hearing, and bilingual settings. Applicants must be working toward or hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care, hold Working with Children Check Clearance, complete mandatory Department training, and demonstrate teamwork, communication, child safety, and ability to work with young children and students with emotional, physical, or intellectual disabilities. The position is anticipated to commence in Term 4, 2026, and applications must be submitted online.
