Description
The School Support Assistant will accompany and support children with special needs during class and breaks, promote their social and school inclusion, help them manage everyday school tasks and communicate with classmates and teachers, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other care or support staff. The role is based in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 20–25 hours per week in a flexible part-time or full-time arrangement. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility; career changers without prior professional experience are also welcome.
