Description
The School Support Assistant will accompany and support a child with special support needs during lessons and breaks, promote the child’s social and educational participation, assist with school tasks and communication, cooperate with teachers and parents, and provide nursing or care support when required. The role is scheduled Monday to Friday during school hours, with flexible hours according to the child’s timetable and 10 hours per week. Experience working with children is desirable, but career changers are welcome; the position requires empathy, communication, teamwork, reliability, physical stamina, and a confident approach in challenging situations.
