Description
The School Support Assistant will accompany and support children with special needs during class and breaks, promote their social and school integration, help with everyday school tasks and communication with classmates and teachers, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other caregivers. The role is based in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and runs for approximately 20–25 hours. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, care-related support, reliability, and responsibility; career changers without prior professional experience are welcome.
