Description
The School Support Assistant will accompany and support children with special needs during class and breaks, promote their social and academic integration, help with everyday school tasks and communication with classmates and teachers, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other care personnel. The role is based in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 20–25 hours per week in part-time or full-time arrangements. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility; career changers without professional experience are also welcome.
