Description
The School Support Assistant will accompany and support children with special needs during lessons and breaks, promote their social and academic integration, help with everyday school tasks and communication with students and teachers, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other care or support persons. The role is based in Dortmund, follows school hours Monday through Friday, and offers approximately 32 hours per week in either part-time or full-time arrangements. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in inclusion, along with empathy, patience, communication, teamwork, care-related willingness, reliability, and responsibility; career changers without prior professional experience are welcome.
