Description
The Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) Operations is hiring Science and Engineering Associates to support scientific instruments and experiments at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. The role coordinates researchers, technicians, scientists, vendors, and university staff; provides technical expertise; develops, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots complex experimental systems; manages equipment and documentation; and supervises technicians and other staff. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or certificate in a related engineering or scientific discipline, or five years of equivalent experience, along with experience in data analysis, experimental processes, equipment design, and laboratory supervision.
