Description
Discovery Cube is hiring a part-time Informal Science Education Instructor for 12–15 hours per week to conduct hands-on science programs for students and families at school sites, Discovery Cube campuses, and virtually. The role teaches K–8 enrichment activities, assists with projects, prepares lessons, maintains materials, and requires driving to schools throughout Southern California. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, while two years of experience working with children, educational-institution experience, science-concept experience, a driver’s license and insurance, and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required. Compensation is $20–$22 USD, with employee benefits including admission tickets, dining and shopping discounts, and ADP discounts.
