Description
SSC Space is hiring a permanent, hybrid Science Operations Scientist to support one or two ESA planetary missions through its Service team and Science Operation Centres. The role covers strategic and long-term science planning, instrument observation management, operational monitoring, quick-look analysis, coverage analysis, requirements specification, software development and testing, and contributions to the Science Operations System. Applicants must have a PhD in Planetary Science or a related discipline, active research experience, stakeholder coordination experience, programming ability, and English fluency; EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens may work in Spain without a visa.
