Description
The Federal Statistical Office is hiring a Scientific Associate / Research Assistant for a 24-month fixed-term project in the division responsible for cost assessments and procedure analyses for better lawmaking. The role supports the development and reform of federal fee law by collecting, analyzing, validating, and evaluating administrative data; designing fee-relevant projects; preparing calculations, reports, and legal justifications; advising ministries and project stakeholders; and conducting ex-ante compliance-cost estimates. Applicants need a relevant academic degree, project-management experience, empirical-data and descriptive-statistics knowledge, legal-provision interpretation skills, willingness to travel within Germany, and eligibility for a basic security screening.
